I swear, most of my coworkers are sorry as hell. Yesterday I had to do double-duty because the morning cashier called out and then the cashier that was supposed to take my place called out and I had to work an hour over before my boss could get someone else in and then the same thing happened again TODAY. Again I had to pull double-duty, working register AND make-line and then had to stay an hour over because the next cashier failed to show up.

Technically early this morning at around 2 AM-2:30 AM. I was woken up by police and ambulance lights flashing and I only found out a little while ago what happened. Apparently she thought he was possessed by a demon and she slit his throat and stabbed him in the chest several times and then tried to kill herself. She's currently in the hospital. The kid was only THREE years old and while he could be a bit bratty, he didn't deserve to die! I'm in shock. They lived in the apartment RIGHT NEXT to mine. I didn't hear a thing either.
