It's still pretty cold down here in southeastern Texas, but the sun's showing signs of life and the temperature's slowly coming back to what's considered normal winter weather for us.
But we don't have any heat because our central heat and air stopped working and the guy who is supposed to fix it is taking his own sweet time getting here. We've been waiting over a week.
Ouch. The roof at one of the gas stations where I work has a leak. This means that there is a big cold draft through the building. If it wasn't for the sun pouring through the windows, the place would be frigid, so I kinda understand where you're coming from. Plus, my own room at home carries a big draft that kills the heat, when my door is closed. If my door is open, i dont sleep due to noise. If it is closed, it is cold. I still like the cold, though I hate waking up cold.
