Zahra, my Lion King Lioness

I've finally chosen a name. Her name is Zahra, which according to means "flower". She was orphaned at 8 months old because her mother was attacked by a pack of hyenas. As a result, she has a venomous hatred of hyenas and will kill them, at least the adults, on sight. She considers them the most disgusting, foulest creatures to ever exist. She was allowed to live on the fringes of another pride as the lowest ranked lioness, which meant she had to wait until everyone else, even the cubs, to finish eating before she could eat any. She had no pride of her own since her mother had been a rogue lion who had been driven out of her pride due to there being too many months to feed. She learned how to hunt while staying with this pride and left when she was a bit over a year old and has been on her own since, hanging around the outskirts of the Pridelands, venturing in to hunt occasionally.

Zahra also doesn't believe in being friends with any other animal beside lions. Her reasoning is that you may be friends with an antelope one day and the next you may hunt one of its family members or friends, or the antelope friend itself could be hunted. She just doesn't think such friendships are worth it.
