Lyra Elante

This my OC Lyra Elante. She is a good duelist, though she has lost to Jaden, Alexis, and Bastian. She's rather lazy, but she will put in the effort if it's important. She hates spiders(and MAN, does she HATE spiders!) She likes to cook, though the only thing she knows how to cook well is Japanese food.
She likes using a deck where she can prevent her opponent from attacking(Gravity Bind and such) while she supes up her own weaker monsters(level three or lower monsters with equip cards out the yin-yang)though she does have plenty of other strategies, but this is the one she uses most often.
I've really gone out of my way to make sure she is not labled a marysue. She is considered pretty, but most of the girls in GX are considered pretty.She's a good duelist, but she doesn't win each time.She likes to sing kaoroke with her friends, but she probably wouldn't be good enough to be an American Idol, though she's not bad.She's smart, but she makes mostly B's and A's sometimes .She considers Alexis to be a sort of role model. She does have white hair, but most characters in Yugioh have either odd colored hair, odd styled hair, or both.So it's not that unusual.She's not considered sweet, though she's not flat out mean either.She does not have a tragic past, it was pretty normal. She was raised by her older sister, though her parents are alive and she sees them often.She has no special powers or abilities though she has some skill in martial arts, enough to defend herself though she wouldn't last too long against Chuck Norris. She is not related in any way to any of the main characters.As mentioned before, she has a horror of spiders, she can't even stand the sight of one unless it's a picture,and even then it makes her shudder.Her name is odd, but it IS a human name at least and she doesn't have a bunch of fancy middle names. And since she attends Duel Academy, she wears the standard Obelisk Blue girl's uniform,not something that makes her stand out.
